My name is Anna, and I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. I remember as a young girl using my parents' camera to take as many photos of things that I found interesting, like green grass in Victoria. I grew up in Calgary, so seeing green grass in the winter months was fascinating.
I have branched out beyond taking photos of green grass. My favourite type of photography is candid. I love capturing people in the moment.
I spent nine years working at three different non-profits in East Africa and British Columbia doing media and communications work. I am currently a multimedia journalist at the Surrey Now-Leader newspaper. I graduated with honours from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in the journalism program in 2022.
